Therefore, we are only able to accept applications for bowling membership at this time.

Mark Porter is in the finals of the Surrey County Bowling Associations Champion or Champions competition. It would be great to see members and friends come along to support Mark on Sunday July 30th (2:30pm) at Croydon Bowls Club. The Committee would like to celebrate St Georges Day by holding a buffet dinner on Saturday 23rd April which coincides with the opening of the green (weather permitting) The two course meal would consist of beef with all the trimmings and jam roly poly with custard and would be provided by our caterers at a cost of £13.00 The caterers have insisted on a minimum of forty, so if you are interested in attending, can you let me know (with numbers) before the next Committee meeting, which will be Sunday 27th March.

WINNERS! Congrats to everyone involved we won the Wheeler Cup beating Heathfield 83-73 following on from wins v Magdalen Park & Norbury so regaining trophy we won in 2013. While its a team effort i must mention Eoghan who won the singles 21-10 so providing the cushion for the rest of us to work with , this follows on from 21-20 & 18-21 results in earlier rounds , continuing his excellent season & gaining valuable experience for the future.
Last club match we beat Magdalen Park in Jackson league 10-0 to end with 5/6 plus 1 not played in this league to be either 1st or 2nd.
League positions for all leagues not yet known but will be reported on in due course.
We have 9 semis left this week in preparation for Sunday , weather will be iffy but just have to play through lol! Good luck to all involved.

Congrats on Fri night to Dave & Martin on making the K&D Pairs final with an excellent S/F win at Raynes Park , unfortunately this morning we were unable to win our K&D 4's S/F at Merton Park losing 13-24(was 10-5 up & went 10-24 down!!) , after an encouraging start we rather fell away with some uninspiring bowling! Anyway good luck to them in Final.
